3.3 Preparation for operation

General procedure

Starting up the accroma, when it is switched off, should be carried out according to the following procedure:

  1. Switching on the accroma 2.0
  2. Starting accrolab
  3. Login
  4. Homing of the robot

The individual steps are explained in the videos in the following sections.

Switching on the accroma 2.0

Login and Homing

After you have started accrolab, you must log in and then you will be taken to the Homing. Before the homing can be started, it must be checked whether the handler arm is in a position suitable for the homing. The software will show you what you have to pay attention to and we will now have a closer look at it.

For homing, the handler’s arm must be able to move freely upwards and look to the left side when looking through the window of the door. The following videos show a good and a bad position of the arm for homing.

Position good for homing

Position not good for homing

The following video shows how to start the homing. In the lower right corner of the video you can see a live video from inside the accroma.

Check Homing

If the homing of the handler was done, it must be confirmed that the handler has successfully completed the homing. The check is necessary to detect a defect and thus prevent damage.

You can see how to check the correct homing in the video on the left side.
