6.1 Cleaning
The cleaning work that is covered in the basic training is limited to the accessible surfaces of:
- Enclosure
- accrotube Rack
- Snap Vial Rack
- Liquid module
What has to be observed during cleaning is explained below.
Cleaning surfaces
All surfaces of the accroma can be easily cleaned with water and some soap. Below you will find supplements for certain objects to be cleaned.
Enclosure
When cleaning the housing, make sure that the door glass is only cleaned with water and a little soap.

accrotube Rack
If the accrotube rack is heavily soiled, it can also be cleaned with solvent. Limit the use of solvents to ethanol and acetone. Lightly moisten a cleaning cloth and clean the affected area.
| Make sure that the window pane does not come into contact with the respective solvent. |
Snap Vial Rack
The Snap Vial Rack can be removed for cleaning by lifting it from the holder.
| The pins for the snap caps are removable and can fall out. |
Liquid module
The Liquid module can also be cleaned with solvent in case of heavy contamination. Proceed as with the accrotube rack, moisten a cleaning cloth to clean the affected area.
